Dr Wang is the author of over 30 papers published in peer-reviewed journals. She presents her work frequently at national and international conferences and has written numerous book chapters and invited reviews.
During her time as Principal Scientist at Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases, Dr Wang established a laboratory specialising in the development of various cell-based assays to support all stages of drug discovery. She spearheaded numerous cutting-edge drug discovery projects, from hit finding to pre-clinical testing, with the aim of finding novel therapeutics against dengue fever. As an avid educator, she trained and supervised attachment and PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, and visiting scientists.
Dr Wang obtained her PhD in Molecular Virology from Chicago’s University of Illinois and completed her post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School.
